All applicants ought to know these basics about Cheval Blanc before applying or interviewing for any role.

Cheval Blanc was created in 2006 as LVMH’s ultra-luxury hospitality maison, giving employees access to a relatively young brand with the backing and long-term investment culture of LVMH.
Rather than scaling rapidly, Cheval Blanc has built a deliberately small portfolio of high-touch properties in destinations such as Courchevel, St-Barth, St-Tropez, the Maldives, Paris and the Seychelles, which means careers tend to be shaped around craftsmanship in service rather than mass-market hotel operations.
The brand was conceived to blend French art de vivre with highly personalized hospitality, so many roles place unusual emphasis on emotional intelligence, discretion and bespoke guest experience.
Cheval Blanc works at the intersection of luxury hospitality, gastronomy, design and wellness, making it especially attractive for candidates who want cross-functional exposure beyond traditional hotel departments.
Its Paris flagship, Cheval Blanc Paris, signaled the maison’s ambition to compete at the very top of global luxury hospitality, much as Belmond does in experiential travel and DFS does in high-end clienteling for international travelers.
Because the brand is still relatively selective in size, employees can benefit from stronger visibility and proximity to leadership than is typical in larger hotel groups, while still operating within the standards ecosystem of a major luxury conglomerate.
