All applicants ought to know these basics about Hennessy before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Cognac in 1765 by Irish officer Richard Hennessy, Hennessy offers job seekers the rare chance to work inside one of the world’s oldest and most influential maisons in wines and spirits.
Hennessy is part of LVMH and sits alongside houses such as Moët & Chandon, Krug, and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, which can create broader internal mobility across the luxury group.
The brand’s global scale is unusual for a heritage spirits house, so careers there often combine deep craftsmanship in eaux-de-vie and blending with highly international marketing, supply chain, and commercial roles.
Hennessy’s identity is built on long time horizons, from vineyard relationships to barrel aging and reserve management, making it especially appealing to candidates who value patience, quality control, and intergenerational savoir-faire.
Its close association with contemporary culture, especially through music, art, and nightlife, gives employees the chance to work on a brand that balances centuries-old heritage with unusually modern cultural relevance.
Because Cognac production is highly regulated and technically demanding, Hennessy can be a strong environment for professionals interested in traceability, sustainability, operations excellence, and the science behind luxury beverages.
