AERIN Beauty seeks a freelance beauty advisor in Toronto to provide makeup, skincare, and fragrance consultation in a prestige retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional makeup application services tailored to individual customer needs and preferences
- Deliver expert skincare consultation and product recommendations
- Offer fragrance and hair consultation services demonstrating product knowledge
- Create welcoming and inspirational in-store experiences that educate and delight customers
- Collaborate with the store team on in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising to ensure competitive store presentation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate authentic, personalized customer service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional credential (preferred)
- Prior retail makeup or beauty counter experience (preferred; beginners with demonstrated creative and technical expertise welcome)
- Expertise or willingness to develop skills in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of legal right to live and work in Canada
