Aveda seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and developing the sales team and meeting sales, service, and operational targets. The role requires retail and supervisory experience, coaching ability, and operational expertise; the anticipated base salary range is CAD 21.78–32.69, depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget, based on a 40-hour work week and scaled accordingly.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience, with a proven record of coaching or mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
