The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring efficient store operations at the Aveda boutique. This supervisory role leverages exceptional coaching and mentoring capabilities to lead the sales team in delivering inspirational, personalized customer service while meeting sales and service targets. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store on a rotational basis, cash reconciliation, and modeling exemplary retail behaviors. The role offers an ideal entry point into supervisory management for ambitious retail professionals with cosmetics experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and performance management
• Lead and mentor the sales team through coaching and example, modelling behaviors that drive inspirational and authentic customer service
• Execute opening and closing procedures on a rotational basis, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale operations
• Achieve sales and customer service targets while fostering a positive retail environment
• Provide personalized customer service aligned with Aveda brand standards and luxury beauty positioning

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Right to live and work in Canada

Skills

Experience

Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening and closing procedures is desirable.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Retail operations or customer service certifications are advantageous but not required.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.40 to CAD 29.15 per hour.
