Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced Store Manager for Aveda in Ottawa, ON to lead sales operations and team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets
- Create and execute an agile business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting and impactful in-store events
- Manage all aspects of customer relationship management with a focus on exceptional service delivery
- Direct business operations including inventory management, facilities oversight, cash reconciliation and staff scheduling
- Conduct sales analysis and set sales and customer service targets aligned with company objectives
- Plan and execute in-store events and promotional activities
- Recruit, train and mentor store team members to foster a high-performing culture
- Manage retail point-of-sale operations and systems
- Oversee store hours and scheduling, including weekends, nights and special events
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Business planning experience including sales target setting, customer service target setting, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Retail operations experience including inventory management, facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Legal right to live and work in Canada

Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Candidates should demonstrate proven leadership, coaching and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment with measurable success in achieving sales and customer service targets.
