The Client Advisor builds client relationships and delivers a personalised luxury experience while achieving sales and commercial KPIs. The role combines product and styling expertise, after-sales service, client acquisition and retention, and support for daily store operations. Expected base salary is CAD 21.00–22.75 per hour at commencement; the position is at-will, and total compensation may include commissions, bonuses, incentive packages and company-sponsored benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets and other commercial KPIs.
- Use brand storytelling and passion to inspire clients and create desire for Burberry with every interaction.
- Deliver luxury service, demonstrating product, fashion and styling expertise.
- Guide clients through the store journey, from creating a strong first impression and understanding their needs to advising on products and styling, closing sales and maintaining relationships.
- Provide efficient follow-up and after-sales service.
- Support daily store operations and maintain luxury standards across front and back of house, including product availability and replenishment, inventory management, markdowns and stockroom maintenance as required.
- Follow company policies, guidelines and procedures, and use visual techniques to maintain standards in line with Burberry guidelines.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work climate.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients.
- Serve clients by appointment, providing personalised service and fostering loyalty and incremental purchases.
- Acquire new luxury clients and grow individual and store client books with a commercial mindset.
- Drive client retention and volume of spend through regular contact and appropriate follow-up on sales and client requests.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of delivering sales and exceeding targets.
- Previous clienteling experience.
- Strong interest in fashion, art and culture.
- Strong product knowledge and a good understanding of store retail operations.
- Understanding of competitor products.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is desirable.
- Knowledge of additional languages is desirable.
- Demonstrates confidence, curiosity, conviction and care.
