Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, November through February, at Rideau Centre in Ottawa. The associate delivers engaging customer journeys, supports sales targets and store operations, and brings product expertise and Canadian warmth to customer interactions. The advertised pay range is CAD 18.50–21.50 per hour, with actual offers dependent on experience, skills and alignment with the role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork and collaboration.
- Support key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming and strategic product categories.
- Support store upkeep by maintaining physical standards and cleanliness, organizing the stockroom, efficiently processing inbound and outbound shipments, and consistently replenishing the sales floor to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge and cross-department partnership.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in compliance with Canada Goose standards, while following all other standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Previous work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability to work Friday through Sunday and all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization and multitasking skills, and the awareness to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
