Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, July through February, at Yorkdale in Toronto. The associate supports engaging customer journeys, sales and store operations, with an advertised pay range of CAD 20.50–25.00 per hour, subject to experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Help maintain a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Support key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keep the sales floor replenished.
- Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge and cross-department collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in compliance with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking skills, and the awareness to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
