Céline seeks a Store Team Manager in Toronto to lead retail operations, manage Client Advisors, and drive sales excellence in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of Client Advisors through goal-setting, individual and team meetings, and regular performance reviews using the RISE internal platform
  • Develop and maintain a growth-oriented environment through daily coaching, weekly pulse checks, and monthly performance reviews
  • Ensure direct reports maintain a commercial mindset with consistent KPI achievement aligned with luxury retail standards
  • Lead succession planning and staff development to elevate associate capabilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and train team members to deliver exceptional client service and drive sales
  • Identify training needs and implement ongoing development programmes with written follow-up reports
  • Supervise team adherence to company policies and procedures, including disciplinary protocols
  • Meet and exceed sales goals set by the Regional Director of Stores
  • Lead the sales team in providing high-quality client service through floor supervision and incentive programmes
  • Maintain the highest degree of client service daily and support the development of repeat business and prospecting strategies
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and corporate partners to ensure team members embody excellence in client service, as measured by Voice of Client (VOC) and Mystery Shop Scores
  • Effectively utilise POS systems and inventory management functions; ensure staff proficiency
  • Partner with logistics and product teams to ensure appropriate merchandise assortment
  • Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports to corporate headquarters
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink targets
  • Coordinate with the Visual Manager on all visual merchandising standards and execution
  • Support visual merchandising planning, scheduling, and implementation to enhance the client shopping experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or office administration, preferably in a luxury setting
  • Business School or University degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with multiple software packages and POS systems
  • Demonstrated success with client books and portfolio management (strongly preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to mediate and resolve issues professionally
  • Passion for luxury products with appreciation for design aesthetics
  • Action-oriented, results-driven mindset

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 90,000 to CAD 100,000 per annum.
