Céline Team Manager position in Vancouver, British Columbia. Lead retail operations, manage Client Advisors, and drive sales excellence in luxury leather goods retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a team of Client Advisors through daily coaching, weekly pulse checks, monthly reviews, and internal objective-tracking platform (RISE)
- Develop and implement succession planning by training and developing support personnel to their full potential
- Recruit qualified candidates at all team levels, adhering to company standards
- Supervise team implementation of company policies and oversee disciplinary procedures as needed
- Onboard new hires and provide comprehensive training in exceptional client service, sales, and system/process usage
- Identify individual and team training needs and create regular training programs with written follow-up reports to Training and Store Managers
- Maintain the highest degree of client service standards daily through team supervision and mentorship
- Build a strong repeat business and prospecting mindset through action-based culture and appointment-based business development
- Collaborate with Store Manager and corporate partners to ensure team embodies quest for excellence, measured by Voice of Client (VOC) and Mystery Shop Scores
- Meet sales goals set by the Regional Director of Stores and lead the sales team to achieve maximum results
- Coordinate use of all client relationship resources (training tools, client books) to provide personal client assistance
- Manage floor supervision levels to improve sales results and develop client base-building events and incentives
- Effectively utilize POS system and inventory management functions; ensure staff proficiency in current systems
- Partner with logistics and product teams to ensure appropriate merchandise assortment
- Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports as required by Corporate
- Maintain strong communication with corporate office, mall office, repair facility, and other stores
- Coordinate follow-up and paperwork accurately and in timely fashion
- Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements
- Partner with Visual Manager to lead all visual merchandising standards and support implementation of innovative visual environments
- Review sales frequently, take corrective action on deficiencies, and reinforce positive sales performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or office administration, preferably in a luxury setting
- Proven management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
- Strong proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
- Established client book strongly preferred
- Computer literacy with ability to learn and utilize various software packages
- Track record of achieving sales targets and commercial objectives
- Proven ability to mediate and resolve issues or concerns professionally
Skills
Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in a retail setting with emphasis on operations, store management, or office administration, preferably in a luxury environment. Demonstrated success in leading retail teams, driving sales performance, and maintaining high operational standards. Computer literacy and proficiency with retail software packages required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant retail management training or certification preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 90,000 to CAD 100,000 per annum.
