The Watches and Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist at CHANEL’s Yorkdale Boutique in North York drives sales and client experience across watches and fine jewelry, including high-end watches and High Jewelry, while partnering with Fashion Advisors. This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity leave replacement ending February 2028; compensation is CAD 80,000–83,000 base salary plus commission and bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive the Watches and Fine Jewelry business daily, with a strong commitment to client experience and a sales-oriented mindset.
- Create a standout client experience by identifying needs and preferences before sharing the brand story and product expertise.
- Build product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales opportunities across all division categories, including high-end watches and High Jewelry.
- Serve as the Watches and Fine Jewelry expert when collaborating with Fashion Advisors introducing pieces to clients, and support the styling journey for clients referred from Fashion.
- Monitor Company and boutique sales targets and performance, working towards commercial objectives and goals, including unit targets as directed by the Watches and Fine Jewelry Manager.
- Collaborate with Management, Head Office and team members to support local events.
- Complete required administrative tasks in accordance with established procedures and policies.
- Assist with regular stock checks and provide attentive after-sales follow-up.
- Maintain knowledge of current merchandising guidelines and uphold the required standards.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of luxury retail sales experience, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
- Knowledge of operational standards and tasks.
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Professional presentation and conduct.
- A service-minded approach balanced with strong sales capability.
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships and relationships in a team-focused environment.
- Appreciation of and passion for culture, beauty and luxury.
Experience
3+ years of luxury retail sales experience, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
