Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Vancouver to lead retail operations, sales teams, and customer service excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize daily sales and monitor conversion rates while maintaining alignment with Christian Dior commercial objectives
- Provide inspirational customer service and supervise sales associates in delivering exceptional clientele experiences
- Assign and monitor sales goals for team members; develop and coach associates in selling techniques and product knowledge
- Conduct regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, merchandise presentations, and brand communications
- Participate in merchandising displays and seasonal promotions, applying brand guidelines with independent judgment
- Oversee inventory management, including stock transfers, damage assessments, returns-to-vendor processing, and department counts
- Develop and maintain personal customer databases; optimize capture rates and post-sale engagement protocols
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and loss prevention standards
- Execute store opening and closing protocols; monitor security procedures and safeguarding of company assets
- Gather and present performance data, addressing operational challenges that affect service delivery and productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience, preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury product environment
- Demonstrated sense of initiative and commercial creativity with strong fashion sensitivity
- Deep knowledge of the luxury industry consistent with Christian Dior's brand positioning
- Proven ability to manage varied working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to open and/or close the boutique as required
- Proficiency with POS systems, personal computers, cash registers, security equipment, and standard office technology
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with strong follow-through capability
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail experience required, with preference for at least 1 year of management experience in a luxury retail setting. Strong commercial acumen, fashion sensibility, and proven ability to drive sales performance and develop sales talent are essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or related post-secondary training in fashion or hospitality is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 95,000 to CAD 110,000 per annum.
