Role & Responsibilities

• Achieve annual boutique sales goals across all product categories.
• Lead the management team in developing Sales Associates to meet and exceed client-development expectations and individual sales goals.
• Ensure outstanding service for all clients at all times.
• Hold regular management meetings to review performance, operations and employee-relations issues, and develop overall business strategy.
• Oversee associate staffing and scheduling, ensuring compliance with payroll budgets.
• Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring for the boutique sales and leadership teams.
• Manage payroll, commercial expenses and headcount within the boutique operating budget.
• Organize and coordinate events with the Corporate Office to increase boutique traffic and maximize sales.
• Develop product knowledge in coordination with the Merchants and Training Team.
• Ensure boutique visual merchandising aligns with brand direction and advertising campaigns.
• Coordinate and actively participate in in-store promotions, including seasonal sales, trunk shows and contests.
• Report product sell-through and client feedback, making recommendations to the Merchandising Team.
• Manage operational processes with the Operations Manager, including shipping and receiving, inventory and aftersales, to minimize stock loss and maximize customer service.
• Enforce established company policies and standards concerning company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures, and store maintenance.
• Review operational reports and records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability and manage payroll budgets.
• Review documentation for receiving, transfers, MOS/damages, returns to vendor (RTVs) and charge-backs to the Corporate Office to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure adequate security and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances.
• Conduct quarterly emergency-procedures meetings with all staff, and provide the management team and HR Department with an updated emergency contact list as needed.
• Resolve problems and develop strategies that support boutique service, efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele.
• Ability to develop, motivate and train the leadership team and staff; build strong internal and external relationships; and deploy workforce skills effectively to maximize business results.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and follow up with Department Managers.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and understandably; listen attentively; understand material; and provide instructions to all employees.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to understand and apply all company policies and procedures.
