Coach Assistant Store Manager at Tsawwassen Mills, BC. Lead retail operations, manage teams, and drive sales in a luxury fashion environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales and commercial strategy by supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals through forecasting, planning, and implementing category initiatives while monitoring KPIs
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Coach brand standards, create an inclusive high-energy environment, and resolve customer issues promptly
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; foster a collaborative culture and build a strong talent pipeline
- Execute omni-channel and digital engagement initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling, and customer data acquisition; leverage social media trends
- Oversee operational compliance including scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising standards, store safety, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, shape store strategies, and drive cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries
- Luxury or fashion retail background strongly preferred
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of omni-channel services and clienteling strategies
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
- Strong customer focus and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible scheduling availability including nights, weekends, peak season, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered. Luxury or fashion retail background is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college or university education in business, retail management, or related field is preferred but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 28 to CAD 35 per hour.
