Coach Sales Associate position in Calgary, Alberta—luxury retail role blending personalized service, omni-channel selling, and team collaboration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to meet business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and adequately stocked; follow all retail policies, POS, and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Foster a collaborative and trust-based team environment; encourage team performance and mutual support
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Maintain calm and professional demeanor; welcome feedback and adapt behaviors accordingly

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail experience preferred
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season, and public holidays
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
  • Luxury retail background preferred
  • Social media savvy and familiarity with short-form video platforms
  • Experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations
  • Clienteling and data acquisition skills

Experience

Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in retail, preferably within the luxury fashion sector. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, execute personal sales plans, and exceed individual and team KPIs. Experience with omni-channel selling and digital sales tools is advantageous.
