Coach seeks an experienced Lead Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at the cashwrap while ensuring operational accuracy and supporting team development. This brand ambassador role manages checkout transactions, promotes the Insider Program and gift card sales, maintains strict cash handling protocols, and mentors junior cashiers to uphold Coach Service standards. The successful candidate will work flexibly across peak retail periods and holiday seasons in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout, greet customers warmly, and create lasting impressions aligned with Coach Service standards
  • Promote the Coach Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift card offerings to enhance customer engagement
  • Maintain accuracy in cash handling, payment processing, and compliance with all financial and operational policies
  • Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods per company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
  • Keep the cashwrap organized, clean, and properly stocked; monitor equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and coaching junior cashiers to maintain service excellence and operational consistency

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Experience

1+ years in cashier or retail roles; a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Luxury retail background is preferred.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
