Lead Cashier at Coach, Vaughan, Ontario. Luxury retail cashier supervisor role with POS expertise and customer service excellence. CAD $19–$22/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers with warmth and professionalism; serve as Insider Program ambassador
- Engage customers at the cashwrap and in line; assess needs and provide tailored solutions
- Capture customer information accurately and securely in compliance with data protection policies
- Execute end-of-shift audits; process returns, repairs, and damaged items per store protocols
- Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards throughout shifts
- Suggest product add-ons and actively promote gift cards to enhance transaction value
- Handle cash and payment media accurately; deliver purchases with care and professionalism
- Provide training and guidance to cashier staff; report equipment issues and maintenance needs
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaborative spirit in all interactions
- Remain composed under pressure; multitask and prioritize effectively in high-volume environments
- Communicate clearly and confidently; influence customer decisions with product knowledge
- Adapt service approach to individual customer needs while maintaining situational awareness
- Leverage point-of-sale systems and mobile technology with proficiency
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, store policies, and operational procedures

Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience in retail, preferably in luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and mobile POS technology
- Basic computer literacy with iPad and laptop platforms
- Experience operating walkie-talkie communication systems
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets and product release information
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience in retail, with preference for luxury retail background. Knowledge of fashion trends, competitor positioning, and customer service best practices in high-end retail environments is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of retail education and relevant work experience will be considered.

The role is situated in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada — conveniently close to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 22 per hour.
