The Retail Sales Associate supports Coach store operations through client service, point-of-sale transactions, stock processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising. This temporary, part-time role requires flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, peak season, busy retail days, and public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients warmly and professionally, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized assistance.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, and support social media engagement.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, keep the cash wrap organized, and handle cash and media in accordance with policy.
  • Recommend add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
  • Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and implement visual merchandising updates.
  • Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests, and partner with the team or management as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and follow Loss Prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of retail experience, such as cashiering, stock work, or sales, preferably in a luxury retail service environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the ability to use an iPad or laptop, Mobile POS, and the Internet; ability to use a walkie-talkie and understand and read price and product release sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs., and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 16 to CAD 18 per hour.
