Gucci Operations Controller in Toronto, Canada—manage stockroom, inventory, and retail operations for luxury fashion boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes while reporting issues and implementing timely resolutions to Store Director or Operations Manager
- Manage timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), and damage processing according to company guidelines
- Maintain accurate and clear operations documentation and procedures for reference and compliance purposes
- Perform regular store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliations with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
- Identify operational process problems and resolve them quickly in collaboration with management
- Process repair and damage requests on a timely basis in accordance with company standards
- Submit all required tax-exempt forms upon receipt and communicate all discrepancies immediately to management
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and place orders for office and store supplies
- Ensure full compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within fashion retail or the luxury sector
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with ability to inspire trust and teamwork
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Expertise in stock control procedures and inventory management software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and collaboration skills with store management, sales teams, and staff
- Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and perform requisite stocking activities
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations
- Proper work authorization to work in Canada
Skills
Experience
2–3+ years in a similar operations or inventory control role, preferably in fashion retail or the luxury goods sector
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in supply chain, operations, or retail management is advantageous but not mandatory

This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22 to CAD 24 per hour.
