Gucci Team Manager in Toronto | Lead luxury retail operations at Yorkdale store. Manage sales team, drive client experiences, and achieve business goals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the retail team to execute a superior client experience with elevated hospitality and service standards
  • Manage the client flow on the selling floor, ensuring all guests receive exceptional service and personalized attention
  • Capture meaningful client data and effectively utilize clienteling tools to drive client loyalty, acquisition, and personalized prospect development
  • Lead clienteling activities and develop strategic action plans aligned with clear goals and KPIs
  • Monitor Client Advisor performance and execution of clienteling excellence through daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews
  • Lead and support company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales targets
  • Model the Gucci selling ceremony on the selling floor and lead by example in embracing luxury service protocols
  • Maintain constant floor presence, providing real-time coaching and feedback to team members
  • Provide regular developmental support and feedback to Client Advisors through behavioral observation and training follow-up systems
  • Conduct annual performance and development conversations, fostering career engagement and transparent feedback
  • Lead engaging morning briefings using varied facilitation techniques to communicate daily objectives and business priorities
  • Develop and lead cross-category focus initiatives, ensuring the team sells across all product categories and floors
  • Participate in attracting and recruiting new team members through behavioral-based interviews and competitive talent pipeline development
  • Ensure effective, holistic, and timely onboarding for new joiners
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters in partnership with Store Managers and People Partners
  • Monitor team adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
  • Analyze store performance KPIs (including RED and people metrics) and partner with Store Managers to provide actionable improvement recommendations
  • Partner with Store Managers and the Merchandising team to provide feedback on products, stock situations, and category-specific requests
  • Partner with Store Managers and Training teams to ensure Client Advisors develop full product knowledge and market awareness
  • Utilize digital platforms to support store and online product sales integration
  • Oversee tracking of all special orders through merchandising communication channels
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, and Loss Prevention on cross-functional initiatives while enforcing company policies
  • Schedule FTE effectively according to individual team member capabilities and traffic flow patterns
  • Allocate tasks and delegate responsibilities based on individual abilities
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards established by global headquarters
  • Maintain full organization of company assets in back-of-house and front-of-house areas per stock guidelines
  • Execute and support product handling, transaction processing, payment procedures, and general store administration
  • Support opening and closing of store as Manager on Duty, providing leadership to all Client Advisors on shift
  • Optimize stock and inventory management while monitoring and reporting risks
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and security protocols in partnership with Store Managers

Qualifications

  • Four or more years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with demonstrated ability to inspire trust and influence team performance
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable business results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong industry awareness and demonstrated business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding organizational abilities
  • Passion for the fashion industry and luxury retail
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience

Four or more years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries, with demonstrated success in leading teams, driving sales performance, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
