Hermès Canada seeks a Host for its Toronto boutique—a temporary, entry-level position greeting clients and managing appointments at $20/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet every visitor warmly as they enter and exit the boutique, embodying Hermès' commitment to extraordinary service
- Assess client needs and direct them to appropriate merchandise locations or team members
- Manage the boutique appointment calendar, recording arrivals, no-shows, rescheduled bookings, and cancellations
- Field telephone appointment requests and coordinate scheduling with team members across sales, operations, and asset protection
- Maintain active communication with boutique staff regarding appointment arrivals and client needs
- Proactively manage wait times by updating clients in outdoor queues when the boutique reaches capacity
- Create an atmosphere of helpfulness and grace, addressing difficult situations with composure
- Anticipate client needs and demonstrate genuine interest in their expectations
- Complete all additional duties as assigned by management

- Minimum one year of experience in customer service, retail, or service-oriented sectors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
