Holt Renfrew seeks a Beauty Advisor in Vancouver to drive sales and build client relationships for luxury beauty brands. Bilingual, commission-based role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service and consistently exceed personal, brand, and departmental sales targets
- Build and retain a loyal personal client base through proactive customer acquisition, relationship development, and retention strategies
- Communicate expertly about product features, benefits, and applications to the entire store selling team
- Drive brand sales through identification of marketing opportunities, event execution, assortment recommendations, and regular communication of suggestions to store management
- Maintain collaborative relationships with buyers, vendors, and selling managers
- Attend all mandatory educational sessions, including product knowledge training, vendor seminars, and internal development programs
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Engage with personal clients regularly via phone, mail, and electronic channels regarding in-store events, product requests, sales follow-up, and special occasions
- Resolve customer service issues independently or escalate outside guidelines to management
- Comply with all health and safety policies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity measures
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in a commission-based sales environment
- Prior retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets
- Fully bilingual in French and English
