The Personal Shopping Assistant provides partnership and administrative support to the Personal Shopper, coordinating appointments, client communications, profiles, merchandise and suite readiness while upholding service, merchandising, privacy and loss-prevention standards. The role is full-time, with a starting range of CAD 17.95–29.25 per hour; final compensation may vary with skills, qualifications, performance and local market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide partnership and administrative support to the Personal Shopper.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the Personal Shopper’s calendar.
- Review and manage correspondence, including drafting and producing official client invitations.
- Represent the Personal Shopper by telephone and email, delivering superior customer service and ensuring professional, timely follow-up.
- Maintain client profiles and information, and track and interpret data to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and coordinate materials and merchandise for client appointments, ensuring standards are maintained.
- Coordinate alterations, product transfers, COGs, holds and other services as required.
- Complete assigned duties and necessary errands to maximize the efficiency of the Personal Shopper’s schedule and work.
- Maintain merchandising standards in the Personal Shopping Suites and on the selling floor when removing and returning products.
- Ensure the suites meet Store Readiness requirements, including overall maintenance and housekeeping.
- Reduce or eliminate loss through effective loss prevention.
- Attend PK sessions to become an expert.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
