The Hour Passion Sales Associate reports to the Store Manager and delivers customer service, sales performance and operational support, while maintaining visual standards, store organization and workplace safety. This is a part-time position of up to 29 hours per week, with open availability required to meet business needs; hours may exceed 29 per week, including on certain holidays and blackout dates. Starting base pay is CAD 17.01 per hour, plus a monthly performance bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and represent Hour Passion as an ambassador, demonstrating customer focus, drive for results, effective teamwork and relationship-building, creativity, problem-solving, humility and integrity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers and resolve issues positively, and achieve or exceed sales KPIs through strong product knowledge.
- Support daily operations, including processing sales and returns, managing inventory, and following operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain store visual standards in line with merchandising guidelines, and help keep the store clean and organized.
- Uphold workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Availability for opening and closing shifts, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and understandably.
- Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Passion for sales and working in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in fashion and/or accessories.
- Experience working with POS systems.
