The Cashier at HUGO BOSS’s BOSS Outlet at Tanger delivers an exceptional shopping experience through accurate, timely checkout transactions and customer assistance. This is a part-time, unlimited-term role involving payment processing, cash handling, store opening and closing support, and related records.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create a positive impression of HUGO BOSS by delivering an exceptional shopping experience and accurate, timely checkout transactions that support positive operating profits.
- Greet customers, answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Accept cash, checks and bank cards, and process transactions according to established retail procedures.
- Calculate discounts or references, request customer identification for applicable discounts and provide receipts as required.
- Count money, give change and issue receipts for funds received.
- Answer routine customer billing questions and resolve related issues.
- Assist with opening and closing the retail location, including cash handling and deposits.
- Inform customers about available services and assess their needs.
- Complete, process and maintain applicable paperwork and records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 months to 2 years of customer service or sales experience; cash handling experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly observant.
- Ability to multitask and manage time.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Proven customer service background.
- Professional demeanor.
