The part-time Retail Store Supervisor at HUGO BOSS in Calgary leads store operations, team development, sales performance, client relationships, inventory control, and health and safety compliance. The role includes commission and flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and represent HUGO BOSS positively through merchandise presentation and effective store operations.
- Train and develop staff, provide excellent customer service, support the merchant group, and resolve problems.
- Lead the team in achieving sales and profit goals and managing inventory.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues continually and actively recruit candidates.
- Work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met and support staff in maintaining high standards.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process information and merchandise using a computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
