The Retail Supervisor represents HUGO BOSS through exceptional customer experiences, merchandise presentation, and effective store operations, while leading sales, inventory control, staff development, and compliance. The role is part-time and unlimited-term, with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and present HUGO BOSS merchandise to create a positive brand impression and support profitable store operations.
- Train and develop staff, provide exceptional customer service, support the merchant group, and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Lead the team in achieving sales and profit objectives and managing inventory.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on client relationships, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are fulfilled, support store staff in maintaining high standards, and assist store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is properly recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process information and merchandise using a computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada, with easy access to Quebec City.
