The Store Manager represents HUGO BOSS through exceptional customer experiences and merchandise presentation, while leading sales, store operations, staff development, and Health and Safety. This is a full-time, unlimited role at the Cross Iron Mills outlet in Rocky View, Alberta.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience, showcase HUGO BOSS through compelling merchandise presentations, and execute operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, deliver exceptional customer service, drive business with the merchant group, and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Achieve positive results in sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Manage staff activities, including hiring, training, appraising, rewarding, motivating, and disciplining employees.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Evaluate performance issues continually and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met, empower store staff to uphold high standards, and support store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures, and ensure related documentation is recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A four-year degree is preferred.
- Five years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, time-management, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
- Strong consulting, negotiation, problem-resolution, mediation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience
5 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
A four-year degree is preferred.
Workplace
