Jo Malone London is seeking a freelance, on-call Beauty Advisor for Chinook Centre in Calgary. The role delivers personalized in-store beauty and fragrance consultations, supports events and visual merchandising, and requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers through makeup application, skincare advice, hair or fragrance consultations.
- Combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for people in customer interactions.
- Contribute to in-store events as part of a high-performing team.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards to distinguish it from competitors.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Applicants must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
- Makeup artistry certification and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable; beginner-level expertise is also welcome.
- Expertise in fragrance, skincare and hair consultations is highly valued; applicants seeking to develop skills in these areas are also welcome.
