Jo Malone London seeks a freelance Beauty Advisor for a part-time seasonal role at Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke. The advisor provides personalized makeup, skincare, hair or fragrance consultations, supports in-store events and visual merchandising, and earns an anticipated base salary of CAD 20–23, depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget, based on a 40-hour work week and scaled accordingly.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers through makeup application, skincare advice, hair consultations or fragrance consultations.
- Use creative and technical expertise to provide customer consultations.
- Work as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards so it stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred; applicants with beginner-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
