Jo Malone London seeks a freelance, on-call Beauty Advisor in Richmond, British Columbia, to provide personalized consultations in makeup, skincare, hair care or fragrance and contribute to in-store events and visual merchandising. The role offers training and development opportunities; eligible employees may receive benefits and participate in a commission/bonus plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-store consultations in makeup application, skincare, hair care or fragrance, creating a welcoming and inspirational customer experience.
- Contribute to in-store events and team performance.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards.
- Deliver authentic, inspirational and personalized customer service.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
- Makeup artistry certification and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable; beginner-level expertise is also welcome.
- Expertise in fragrance, skincare and hair consultations is valued; applicants looking to develop these skills are also welcome.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in Canada must be provided if invited to interview.
