The Retail Stylist at Kate Spade advises customers on products and personal style, creates complete looks, and supports sales through customer connections and storytelling. The role also maintains stockroom and point-of-sale operations and requires a flexible schedule; it is part-time and temporary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Offer styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks.
- Show customers creative ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging them to return.
- Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions.

Qualifications
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel, and move around the sales floor and stockroom.
