Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist in Ottawa to deliver personalized styling advice and exceptional customer service at Tanger Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand their aesthetic and lifestyle preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that reflect the customer's personal style
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative presentation and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
- Reinforce customer choices and foster brand loyalty by inviting guests to return
- Drive results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner to support continuous improvement
- Work flexibly to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer service excellence
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- English proficiency
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail days
