Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist in Toronto to deliver exceptional customer styling advice and drive sales in a vibrant retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customers and ask insightful questions to identify styling needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice and suggest coordinated product combinations to create complete looks
- Demonstrate creative product presentation and showcase multiple styling possibilities to inspire customer exploration
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and facilitate seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce customer confidence in their choices and encourage future visits through exceptional service
- Drive sales results through strong customer relationships, authentic storytelling, and deep brand understanding
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Participate in team feedback culture and professional development discussions
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing sales environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Proficiency in English (or local language per market requirements)
- Willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Social media awareness and digital literacy
