Kiehl’s is hiring a Keyholder at Richmond Centre to support the Store Manager in achieving store and individual sales goals, deliver personalized customer service and support daily store operations. The base rate is CAD 20–24 per hour, dependent on market location and potentially varying with job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity; the role offers monthly sales bonus potential, quarterly gratis allocation and career growth opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales goals while meeting individual sales targets set by the management team.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, including features, benefits and usage, and application techniques; provide service and beauty advice.
- Generate sales against targets using the brand’s selling method, product knowledge and basic service flow; maximize selling opportunities through link-selling.
- Support daily point-of-sale (POS) operations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Follow brand CRM procedures to recruit and retain customers.
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, merchandising standards and on-shelf product availability.
- Acknowledge and record customer complaints and issues, and report them to the Store Manager.
- Communicate relevant information about competitors, clients and other key events to the Store Manager.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures.
- Attend all scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
- Retail and/or cosmetics experience preferred.
- Previous keyholder experience preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Diligent and responsible attitude.
- Analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, use stairs and/or a ladder as necessary, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
- English is mandatory; a second language is an asset.
