MAC Calgary AB is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in prestige beauty retail. Lead, mentor, and develop Sales Associates in a fast-paced environment with Estée Lauder.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor Sales Associates to achieve individual and team sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations and team management
- Conduct inventory management and cash reconciliation procedures
- Provide inspirational and personalized customer service to support sales growth
- Manage retail point-of-sale operations and transactions
- Work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Monitor and maintain retail operations standards and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring staff
- Previous experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty retail
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional, personalized customer service
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong inventory management and cash reconciliation capabilities
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends and special events
- Legal right to work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Proven supervisory experience gained in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty retail. Demonstrated track record of successfully coaching and mentoring Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; post-secondary retail management certification or equivalent professional development is an asset.
