MAC, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring efficient store operations and exemplary customer service. This supervisory-track role requires proven retail experience, ideally in cosmetics, with responsibility for opening and closing the store on a rotational basis, cash reconciliation, and coaching the sales team to deliver personalized customer service and meet sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, modeling the service behaviors required to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail location
  • Conduct opening and closing store procedures on a rotational basis, including cash reconciliation and register management
  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to drive sales performance
  • Coach and mentor team members to deliver exceptional service and meet performance objectives
  • Execute point-of-sale transactions and handle cash with accuracy and integrity

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience with coaching and mentoring capability (desirable)
  • Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures (desirable)
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
  • Right to live and work in Canada

Experience

Previous retail experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within cosmetics or beauty retail. Supervisory or coaching experience is desirable but not essential; this position is positioned as a first step into supervisory responsibility for ambitious self-starters with strong retail backgrounds.

Education

No specific educational credentials are required; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is standard for retail supervisory roles.

Workplace

This position is based in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.33 to USD 22 per hour.
