The Makeup Artist combines creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized in-store customer experiences, supports impactful events and maintains visual merchandising standards. Part-time, temporary role with training and development and a competitive remuneration and benefits package.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
  • Collaborate with the team on in-store events that create impact.
  • Ensure the store consistently meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.

Qualifications

  • A makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
  • Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
