MAC Key Holder (30 hrs/week) at Yorkdale, Toronto. Lead retail operations and support store management in prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the sales team by modeling exemplary customer service behaviors and coaching staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Execute daily cash reconciliation and handle point-of-sale operations with accuracy and precision
- Open and close the store on a rota basis, ensuring compliance with security and operational procedures
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day management of store operations and staff
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to clients
- Maintain retail standards and visual merchandising throughout the store
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Proficiency in retail cash handling and point-of-sale software systems
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience with proven coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Experience with retail operations including store opening and closing procedures
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience is essential, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty. Supervisory or team-leading experience with demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities is highly desirable. Experience with retail operations including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures is preferred.
Education
