Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experiences that educate and inspire customers
- Combine creative and technical expertise to provide knowledgeable product consultations and recommendations
- Collaborate with high-performing team members to execute in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain and uphold the brand's visual merchandising standards to ensure competitive store presentation
- Process transactions using retail point-of-sale software
- Work flexibly across retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events
Qualifications
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
- Creative and technical expertise in cosmetics or beauty products (formal retail certification preferred but amateur-level experience welcomed if demonstrable passion and expertise are evident)
Skills
Experience
Retail sales experience in beauty or cosmetics is desirable; amateur-level experience is welcomed provided the candidate demonstrates high-level creative and technical expertise and genuine passion for the beauty industry.
Education
Formal retail sales certification is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is standard for the role.
