Part-time temporary warehouse position at Tommy Hilfiger in Delta, BC, supporting overall warehouse operations including receiving, processing, and accurate replenishment of product to the store floor. The role involves managing inventory, controlling expenses and shortages, and assisting management with recruiting and training warehouse associates while maintaining professional standards and operational efficiency.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize sales volume through accurate replenishment according to store-generated pull sheets
- Execute receiving, shipping, and processing activities for standard shipments, third-party deliveries, and inter-store transfers
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with warehouse team and management
- Assist in recruiting and training warehouse associates
- Maintain proficiency in all operational policies and procedures
- Manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and execute price change activities
- Support the Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and warehouse dress code requirements
Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds regularly
- Capacity to stand for extended periods of time
- Professional demeanor and conduct
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts as assigned by management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented approach to accomplishing warehouse goals
Skills
Experience
No specific years of experience required; however, prior warehouse, logistics, or retail operations experience would be advantageous. Training provided on company-specific systems and procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; demonstrated ability to learn operational procedures and systems required.
Workplace
This position is based in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
