Sephora Canada Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Calgary, AB - part-time retail position with CAD$17–$20/hr and career development opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to individual client needs
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty techniques and applications
- Monitor emerging beauty trends, products, and techniques to provide relevant, current recommendations
- Achieve and exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators
- Support inventory management, merchandising activities, and maintain a clean, organized retail environment
- Promote an inclusive team culture and foster positive client relationships
- Uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure shopping experience
- Maintain flexibility and availability during peak retail periods including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop strong client relationships in retail, hospitality, or client-focused environments
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and empowering client confidence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach in goal-driven, inclusive settings
- Quick learning capability with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
Entry-level retail or hospitality experience preferred; demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop client relationships is essential.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; formal beauty or cosmetics certification not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
