The Beauty Advisor delivers tailored beauty consultations and product recommendations, shares product expertise, supports merchandising and inventory, and helps maintain an inclusive, welcoming store while working toward sales goals. This is a permanent part-time role requiring 15–29 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs.
• Share product expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
• Stay current on beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Work to exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Promote an inclusive, open culture where everyone feels empowered and collaborate with the team.
• Follow company policies and help provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum of 15–29 hours per week and be available for peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
• Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Beginner; previous experience providing service and developing client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
