The Beauty Advisor at Sephora delivers personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations, shares product expertise, supports sales goals, and maintains inventory, merchandising, and an inviting store environment. This is a permanent, full-time role with a schedule of 30–40 hours per week, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
• Share product expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
• Keep up with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered and collaborate with the team.
• Follow company policies and help provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours: 30–40 hours per week for full-time roles.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or other client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive as a team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment; beginner-level experience is indicated.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.20 to CAD 22.60 per hour.
