A part-time Beauty Advisor position at Sephora's Beauty Studio in Ottawa. The role encompasses personalized beauty consultations, customized makeup and skincare services, product demonstrations, and client engagement across all beauty categories. The incumbent will maintain current knowledge of beauty trends and brand launches while delivering exceptional service in a welcoming environment and participating in sales initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized beauty consultations and recommend suitable products and services based on clients' goals
- Perform customized beauty services, including makeup application and skincare treatments, adhering to health and hygiene standards
- Demonstrate expertise in makeup techniques and skincare routines through product application education
- Maintain current knowledge of beauty trends, new product launches, and Sephora's brand offerings
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients; manage bookings and rebooking of beauty services
- Participate in sales events and promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and contribute to store sales goals
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of prior experience in retail sales or services
- Knowledge of trending beauty products
- Strong communication skills with ability to multitask
- Consistent and reliable attendance with flexible availability during peak retail hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
