Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver engaging customer service across color, skincare, and fragrance departments in a full-time retail role. The position encompasses product consultation and application, team training and mentoring, inventory management, and participation in loss-prevention initiatives. The successful candidate will greet customers enthusiastically, assess product needs, execute makeup applications as required, and ensure operational excellence through compliance with sampling policies and stock management protocols.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service across all product categories (color, skincare, fragrance, and till areas)
  • Greet customers with enthusiasm upon entry and determine their product needs through consultative selling
  • Apply makeup for customers and share detailed product knowledge to support purchasing decisions
  • Train and mentor other beauty advisors, ensuring team members complete comprehensive brand training
  • Conduct ongoing product learning and remain current with new launches and seasonal offerings
  • Participate in inventory management and communicate stock issues to store management
  • Maintain compliance with sampling policies and procedures
  • Stay informed of special events and in-store promotions
  • Participate in loss-prevention and shrinkage-reduction programs
  • Perform point-of-sale functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade customers with clarity and concision
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Passion for customer engagement and product knowledge
