Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor in Red Deer, AB. Part-time, flexible hours (0–14 hrs/week), CAD $17–$20/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to clients based on individual needs and preferences
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and educate clients to empower their beauty journeys
- Monitor industry trends and stay current with new beauty products and techniques to provide relevant, timely advice
- Contribute to sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client engagement
- Support inventory management, merchandise displays, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture that emphasizes openness and empowerment
- Uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience
- Provide excellent customer service with availability during peak retail operations including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or client-focused service environments with demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and current trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to thrive in collaborative, goal-oriented environments
- Quick learner capable of rapidly absorbing and communicating product knowledge
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or beginner retail experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented role is preferred; passion for beauty and client engagement can compensate for limited formal experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; beauty industry certification or formal training is not required but may be valued.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
