Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences
• Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty techniques, ingredients, and latest industry trends
• Maintain current knowledge of beauty products, seasonal collections, and emerging trends to provide relevant and compelling advice
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client relationship building
• Support store operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, executing merchandising displays, and ensuring a clean and welcoming retail environment
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture where all clients and colleagues feel valued and empowered
• Uphold Sephora Canada's service standards and security protocols to create a safe and enjoyable shopping experience

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service and cultivate strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment
• Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics trends, and empowering client confidence
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with diverse clientele
• Collaborative team player with ability to thrive in a goal-oriented and inclusive workplace
• Quick learner capable of rapidly absorbing and communicating product knowledge
• Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds

Skills

Experience

Entry-level retail or hospitality experience with a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build meaningful client relationships is preferred. Prior beauty industry experience is not required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal post-secondary education required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
