Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences
• Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients to empower them in their beauty journey
• Stay current with latest beauty products, techniques, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide relevant, timely advice
• Drive sales results and exceed key performance indicators set by Sephora Canada
• Support inventory management, merchandising displays, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store environment
• Promote a culture of openness, inclusivity, and teamwork where all colleagues feel valued and empowered
• Uphold Sephora Canada company policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure shopping experience
• Meet required weekly hours (30–40 hours for full-time positions) and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, or client-focused service experience with demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build strong client relationships
• Genuine passion for beauty, trends, and helping clients gain confidence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Collaborative team player who thrives in goal-oriented, inclusive environments
• Quick learner capable of absorbing and effectively sharing product knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Skills

Experience

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or client-focused environments demonstrating strong interpersonal and service delivery capabilities. Beginner-level candidates with genuine passion for beauty and ability to learn quickly are encouraged to apply.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; formal beauty or cosmetology training is not required but may be advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.20 to CAD 22.60 per hour.
